Dr. Francis J. Beckwith, associate director of the J.M. Dawson Institute of Church-State Studies and associate professor of church-state studies, had a monograph titled Law, Darwinism and Public Education: The Establishment Clause and the Challenge of Intelligent Design featured in a book note in Harvard Law Review (Vol. 117, No. 3, pp. 964-971, January 2004).

Edward J. Blum, post-doctoral fellow and lecturer in sociology and anthropology, had a manuscript titled "The Soul of W.E.B. DuBois" featured in February on WBMI Radio in Chicago.

Dr. Byron Johnson, Visiting Distinguished Professor of Sociology, had research discussed in an article in First Things (pp. 13-14, February 2004).
