It is time to select staff members for the University's 2003 Outstanding Staff Awards. This recognition is for those staff members nominated by University faculty and staff for having done an exceptional job over the past year. The staff categories and number of employees to be selected in each category are as follows:
Professional (degree required)
Technical/Paraprofessional/Skilled Crafts/ Service Maintenance
Selections will be based on the following criteria: (1) support in fulfilling the university's mission, (2) achievements within the respective job assignment and (3) contributions through service at Baylor, in the local community and church.
You may nominate any staff (non-faculty) member without regard to his/her category. Nominees must have been employed at the University for at least one year. Nominations may be submitted electronically (preferred method) by completing the electronic nomination form which is located at: http://www.baylor.edu/admin/outstandingstaff/outstandingstaff.htm
Manually completed nomination forms are to be forwarded to the Outstanding Staff Selection Committee, in care of the address below. All nominations must be received no later than Jan. 26, 2004.
Nominations received after this date WILL NOT be considered. Selected employees will be recognized during award presentations at the Annual Service Awards Ceremony scheduled for Feb. 18, 2004, at 3 p.m. in the Barfield Drawing Room.
Recognition as Outstanding Staff is considered to be a great honor and recipients should represent the very best of Baylor's staff. We sincerely encourage and appreciate the thoughtful participation of every staff and faculty member in this nomination process.
