The Office of Work/Life Programs is excited to report that Baylor has exceeded its $12,000 goal in supporting the American Heart Association through the annual American Heart Walk, held Oct. 11 at Getterman Softball Stadium The total money raised for McLennan County by all participating organizations was more than $100,000.
The involvement of those who served as team captains and all of the walkers was the key to the success of the Baylor effort. More than 40 Baylor departments participated in the Heart Walk, making the campaign a tremendous success.
Operations and Facilities and Modern Foreign Languages were the two Baylor departments which raised the most money per capita. Both departments will receive a complimentary breakfast from Benny's Bagels.
