5 Reasons to Register for Spring Premiere

April 6, 2022

If you are a high school student or prospective transfer considering Baylor, sign up to attend Baylor Spring Premiere on Saturday, April 9. The event is a chance for students and parents to learn more about what makes Baylor special—without having to leave the house!

"Spring Premiere is really an opportunity for anyone to come to understand what Baylor is and what Baylor stands for," Vincent Phillips, Assistant Director for Undergraduate Admissions Campus Visits, said.

This Spring's event will be held virtually runs from approximately 10 a.m. CDT to 3 p.m. CDT Saturday.

Here are five reasons why you should register now for Spring Premiere:

1. Get all your questions answered in one place.

If you have questions about anything Baylor-related, from financial aid to Greek life, you can get them answered at Spring Premiere. You can attend sessions on academics, admissions, financial aid, and more or enter live chatrooms throughout day to ask current students any questions you have. There will even be a Q&A session just for parents!

2. Get to know Baylor faculty and current students.

During Premiere, attendees will get to hear from Baylor's world-class faculty and have the opportunity to interact with current students. What better way to learn more about Baylor than from the people who make it what it is?

3. Check out Baylor without any pressure.

Because Premiere is virtual, you will be able to learn more about Baylor without committing to any travel or expenses. You will be able to focus on learning about Baylor rather than worrying about what you are wearing or doing.

"Students should register for Spring Premiere because this gives them an opportunity to not have any pressure to look, act or speak a certain way in order to get an experience at Baylor," Phillips said.

4. A live, interactive Zoom tour of campus will allow you to see campus in a way you can't just see online.

At Premiere, you will get to take a live, interactive Zoom tour of campus, led by a current student. From the comfort of your own home, you will have a front row seat to the beautiful campus that Baylor Bears get to call home.

5. By registering for the event, you show your interest in Baylor and give us an opportunity to follow-up with you once Premiere is over.

"We want students to register because it gives us the opportunity to stay connected with them," Phillips said. "When it comes to students applying, it shows us that they're serious about Baylor."
