Baylor Theatre Season Ticket Sales

August 1-October 14

Convocation

August 17
Convocation is an academic ceremony to formally welcome incoming students to Baylor University. It brings together administrators, faculty and students to commemorate the start of the academic year, providing a bookend to commencement.

Fall Faculty Meeting

All faculty are invited to join President Livingstone for a look at the state of the University as we kick off the fall semester. The meeting will take place in Foster 250.

Jazz Ensemble Swing Concert

September 6
The 12th annual swing concert, Moonlight Serenade, is led by Alex Parker, senior lecturer in jazz studies and director of the Wayne Fisher Jazz Program at Baylor University. General admission tickets for this concert are available for $5 at the Baylor University box office, located in the Bill Daniel Student Center. To purchase tickets online, visit baylor.edu/studentactivities. Tickets are free for anyone 65 years of age or older.

Family Weekend

A tradition at Baylor since 1960, Family Weekend strives to help families of Baylor students become better acquainted with the University and spend time with their students, whether enjoying coffee and refreshments with Baylor faculty or taking the afternoon to explore downtown Waco.
