Faculty and Staff Play Instrumental Role in Philanthropic Support of Baylor

July 30, 2018

Baylor’s faculty, staff and retirees stepped forward in a powerful manner during the 2017-2018 fiscal year to support Baylor’s mission through the Our Baylor campaign, an annual philanthropic opportunity. During this year's campaign, 42 percent of Baylor's faculty and staff participated giving more than $1.7 million to the University.
This generous support benefited the Baylor Family Compassion Fund and a wide range of areas that make a real difference for our students and campus
community. The Baylor Family Compassion Fund provides financial assistance to Baylor employees and Baylor’s official vendor partners in the event of an unforeseen emergency.
On June 29, faculty and staff and their families enjoyed "The Lion King" on the field at McLane Stadium as a "thank you" for being a part of the campaign.
In the last three years, faculty, staff and retirees have given a collective $6.3 million to Baylor, with more than $2.25 million going directly to benefit students through scholarships.
