Dr. Susan Power Bratton, professor, received 100 Most Influential People in the History of Great Smoky Mountains National Park from Great Smoky Mountains Association in honor of the 100th birthday of the U.S. National Park Service on Sept. 16, 2016, Cherokee, N.C., for setting up a research laboratory at Twin Creeks, contributing numerous scientific reports, initiating scientific publication series and early environmental monitoring for the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
