The Graduate Student Association has honored Shirley Samuel and Erica Gomes from Biomedical Studies through its Interdisciplinary Scholarship Forum (ISF). Both Shirley and Erica gave an excellent summary of their research at our April meeting and received an award from GSA for $50 as well as $100 in books from our co-sponsor Baylor University Press. Their abstracts were chosen from among 34 submissions.
