Mary Lynn Trawick, Ph.D.

Dr. Mary Lynn Trawick is associate professor of chemistry and biochemistry at Baylor University. She received her Ph.D. from Case Western Reserve University in 1974 and was a postdoctoral fellow there from 1974 to 1976. She then served as staff fellow at the National Institutes of Health from 1978 until coming to Baylor in 1983. Dr. Trawick's research interests include the mechanism of action and the design and synthesis of active-site directed inhibitors of the enzymes, transglutaminase and gamma-glutamylamine cyclotransferase and the turnover of crosslinked proteins.
