Ann E. Rushing, Ph.D.

Dr. Ann Rushing is professor of biology at Baylor University. She received her Ph.D. from Texas A&M University in 1982 and had postdoctoral appointments at the University of Illinois, the Museum national d'Histoire in Paris and Auburn University before coming to Baylor in 1989. Dr. Rushing's research interests include ultrastructure growth and development of plants, especially bryophytes, comparative sporogenesis, spermatogenesis and sperm morphology in bryophytes, wood anatomy and systematics and analyses of variation in plants. She has authored 24 publications and presented an equal number of papers or posters at scientific meetings.
