Richard E. Duhrkopf, Ph.D.
Dr. Richard Duhrkopf is associate professor
of biology at Baylor University and also serves
as director of graduate studies for the biology
department. He received his Ph.D. from Ohio
State University in 1977 and was a postdoctoral
fellow at the Johns Hopkins University School
of Hygiene and Public Health from 1978 to
1980. He served as assistant professor of biology
at Grinnell College in Iowa from 1980 to 1984
and came to Baylor in 1984. Dr. Duhrkopf has
authored 10 publications and made more than
20 presentations at various meetings of scientific
groups. His research interests include the behavior,
genetics and evolution of mosquitoes as well
as the development of computer software for
biological education and research.
