Jaime L. Diaz-Granados, Ph.D.Dr. Jaime L. Diaz-Granados is an associate professor of psychology, neuroscience, and biomedical studies at Baylor University. He serves as the graduate director for the Baylor University Neuroscience Doctoral Program and as interim chair of the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience. He received his Ph.D. in behavioral neuroscience from the University of Texas at Austin. He came to Baylor University in 1996 following a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Diaz-Granados is a National Institutes of Health-funded researcher focusing on the long-term neurobehavioral effects of alcohol exposure during the adolescent developmental period. Using a murine model, his research group is able to investigate changes in behavior, neurochemistry, and protein expression.
