AcademicsIf you are interested in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, ecology, environmental science, wildlife, conservation, forestry, genetics, or other areas of biology, you will find that our undergraduate curriculum and facilities offer excellent preparation for graduate and professional schools. A major in biology will also prepare you well for a career in other health-related professions including medical technology, optometry, pharmacy, and physical therapy. Our graduate program maintains research emphasis in both ecology and health and molecular biology.
