Laura Blanche Jackson Endowed Memorial Lectureship in World Affairs

The 15th Annual Laura Blanche Jackson Lectureship in World Affairs
was held on Tuesday, March 25th, 2008, in the Paul W. Powell Chapel of Truett Seminary. Dr. Andrew C. Kuchins, Senior Fellow and Director of the Russia and Eurasia Program at the Center for Stategic and International Studies (CSIS), presented the lecture entitled "The Future of Russia...Is Hard to Predict."

CSIS is a bipartisan, nonprofit public policy organization headquartered in Washington, D.C. that conducts research and analysis and develops policy initiatives and solutions that look into the future and anticipate change.

In 2007 Dr. Robert Lieber, Professor of Government and International Affairs at Georgetown University, presented "America and Europe: Mars vs. Venus or Perennial Partners?" as part of the Laura Blanche Jackson Lectureship in World Affairs.
