BIC Facts

1. BIC replaces most general studies coursework.
2. BIC accepts only 200 freshmen each fall.
3. BIC students may apply to live in the Honors College Residential College.
4. BIC professors are pulled from across the university and community.
5. Many BIC students study abroad.
6. BIC appeals to graduate, medical, and law schools, as well as employers.
7. Many BIC students participate in a variety of organizations and extracurricular activities across campus.
8. BIC offers students the opportunity to analyze primary texts.
9. You do not lose AP, IB, and Dual Credits when you enter the BIC.
10. The BIC does not require a senior thesis.
