What are BEAR HUNTERS?

Across America, colleges and universities are becoming increasingly more competitive as they seek to attract the highest quality students who are academically prepared and exhibit leadership potential. Baylor, like other major universities, faces this same challenge as it works to maintain a well-prepared and diversified student body.

To meet this challenge Baylor is utilizing its increasing network of alumni, parents, and other friends of Baylor. Thus we have the "BEAR HUNTERS," a unique group of individuals committed to "flinging the green and gold afar" and sharing the Baylor story with students and families in their communities.

As a BEAR HUNTER you are a key link in the recruitment process and a vital influence in shaping Baylor University.

How To Hunt Bears:

The ways you can hunt future Baylor Bears is inclusive of, but not limited to, the following methods:

• Refer A Bear - Send the names and pertinent information of high school students to the Office of Admission Services.
• Spot A Bear - Represent Baylor by attending College Fairs in your community.
• Serve A Bear - Take Baylor information packets to local high school counselors or youth ministers and maintain relationships with them on behalf of Baylor.
• Host A Bear - Help the Office of Admission Services with special recruiting events in your area.
