Football Season Tickets Frequently Asked Questions

1. How do I renew my football season tickets?
Football ticket renewals are done online. On Feb. 1 a renewal application will be available in your Baylor Ticket account. You will simply fill out the application and either pay in full or establish a payment plan for your tickets. Bear Foundation commitment/seat options will be invoiced separately. 2. Will I be able to renew the same seats this year?
Yes. As long as you either maintain or exceed the previous year's Bear Foundation contribution and renew your tickets by the deadline, March 31, you will be able to retain the same season tickets.

3. What if I'd like to move my seats?
On your online season ticket renewal you will have an opportunity to opt-in to the seat relocation process. By opting in, you are not committing to anything. You will be given a time during the seat selection/relocation process in June to see what is available. You may choose to move your seats or keep your existing. Please note seats in some areas may require a higher Bear Foundation giving level.

4. How do I add seats to my existing season ticket allotment?
On your online season ticket renewal you will also have the opportunity to request additional tickets. You will be given a time during the seat selection/relocation process in June to see what is available. New season ticket holders and those moving seats will select first, followed by those hoping to add. By requesting additional tickets on your application you are NOT obligated to purchase additional season tickets. Ticket request limits may apply. Please note that adding season tickets may require a higher Bear Foundation giving level, if your total seat options are higher that your current commitment.

5. Can increasing my Bear Foundation giving level help in improving my seat location?
All requests to relocate and/or add seats will be ranked based on Bear Foundation Priority Ranking. Increasing your donation remains the best way to improve season ticket location. Increased giving does not guarantee improved ticket location as opportunities to relocate are based on the renewal rate of existing season ticket holders.

6. How do I purchase season tickets for the first time?
Those wanting to purchase tickets for the first time for the 2017┬football season must join the Bear Foundation and request football season tickets by March 31 to have a chance to purchase seats. Please click here for more information.

7. Why do I have to join the Bear Foundation for a chance at season tickets?
All Baylor football season ticket holders are members of the Baylor Bear Foundation. Each season ticket seat comes with a minimum donation (seat option), which counts toward a Bear Foundation membership. This tax-deductible portion of the season ticket cost goes to support student-athletes scholarships and helps meet the essential needs of the Athletic Department that are not covered by the University's athletic budget. Due to the high demand for Baylor football season tickets, a membership is required for the opportunity to select season tickets. Current season ticket holders must also maintain their Bear Foundation commitment in order to retain their existing seats. The support of Bear Foundation members creates opportunities for our student-athletes to compete at the highest level while earning a prestigious education in a Christian environment.

8. At what level do I need to join to be guaranteed season tickets?
Unfortunately, tickets are not guaranteed at any level. New season ticket selection will be based on Bear Foundation priority ranking. (Read more about priority ranking here.) Season ticket availability is based on renewal rate of existing season ticket holders. Historically, renewal rates are higher than 95%. However, in recent years all new Bear Foundation members seeking football season tickets have had the opportunity to purchase season tickets or a modified season ticket package. Keep in mind that once tickets are secured, Bear Foundation members can participate in a relocation/upgrade process in future years.

9. What level should I join to acquired tickets in my DESIRED ticket area?
There are no guarantees that a certain membership level will get you tickets in the area of your choice. Ticket availability is based on the previous year's ticket renewals. We encourage those interested in season tickets to join at a level they feel most comfortable maintaining year to year. It is important to note that we rank individuals on our waiting list by giving level and then by priority points. You may consider a higher level if you are trying to get tickets in a high-demand location, such as East side lower level or around centerfield. 10. What level should I join to be in my desired parking area?
There are no guarantees that a certain membership level will get you parking in your desired lot. Reserved football parking (upon purchase of football season tickets) begins at the $750 Green Bear level. At the Green Bear level, most reserved parking passes will be located at the Ferrell Center or Speight Garage. All levels above the Green Bear level increase your chances of receiving parking in a closer lot.

11. Why are new and additional season ticket requests limited?
Due to the high demand for all football season tickets in all seating locations, limits have been put in place to afford more fans the opportunity to obtain season tickets. Those hoping to purchase season tickets for the first time can request up to six (6) tickets and existing season ticket holders can request four (4). Accounts with 10 or more season tickets will not be able to purchase additional season tickets under that respective account. Please note: Inventory of season tickets may not meet the full supply of requested additional tickets.

12. What is my rank and how do I rank among others? How can I improve my rank?
Your giving level in the Bear Foundation and priority points accumulated are used to determine your ranking. Your giving level is the first priority then your points are used to rank you within your membership level. (Read more about priority ranking here.) Prior to the football season ticket selection and relocation process, we will publish a "Where You Stand" chart to help you determine your standings with a snapshot of the following information: the number of individuals requesting tickets, number of tickets requested, giving Levels of individuals requesting tickets. If you hope to improve your ranking by moving to a higher giving level, you must do so by March 31, 2017 in order to benefit for 2017 season ticket selection.

13. How do I obtain parking?
For reserved parking, you must be a season ticket holder with the minimum donation of $750. Parking assignments are made annually based on Priority Ranking within a member's current classification. Current Bear Foundation members, who maintain their same giving level, will keep their same parking. Bear Foundation premium parking lots are: Onsite Lots 1, 2, 3, and 4, as well as Law School, Dutton Parking Garage, and Ferrell Center. Click here for McLane Stadium parking information.

14. If I decrease my BBF contribution, will my seats and parking be reassigned?
Yes. Seats and parking are subject to relocation, regardless of the number of season tickets purchased. All members must either maintain or exceed the previous year's total Bear Foundation contributions or required seat option totals, whichever is greater. Those decreasing will be placed in the relocation process and should expect less desirable seating locations. In addition, the opportunity to purchase tickets at all will not be guaranteed.

15. I am interested in Suite, Club, or Loge seats. Are they available?
Suite, Club, and Loge all require a campaign gift, along with a five-year commitment. Currently, there is very limited availability in these areas. The Bear Foundation maintains a wait list for those who may be interested should these premium-seating options come available in the future. 16. What happens to those who don't complete their 2016-17 membership payments by May 31?
A 2016-17 BBF membership not paid in full by May 31, 2017, will lose possession of season tickets. In addition, a 2016-17 membership without a payment or payment plan established by March 31 will also lose possession of season tickets for the 2017 season. The Bear Foundation will send communication to all members who have a balance leading up to April 1.

17. Will Single-game tickets be available this season?
Single-game stadium and berm tickets typically go on sale on in late-Aug. In the event that Bear Foundation members on the wait list were not offered season tickets to purchase, they will receive first priority to purchase single game tickets, before season ticket holder and the general public.

18. Can I reduce or discontinue my Bear Foundation membership for the upcoming membership year and still keep my season tickets?
If you would like to reduce or discontinue your Bear Foundation membership, you may not be able to retain your current season tickets. If you reduce your Bear Foundation pledge, but maintain a membership, you may be eligible to purchase tickets in another location. 19. How will I select my seats at my assigned time in June?
The McLane Stadium Seating Plan will occur with the support of Ballena software, successfully utilized in past years for seat selection at McLane Stadium. This technology will allow our donors the opportunity to watch the selection process in real time and select their seats online at their designated time. Ballena has developed an interactive 3D map that will allow virtual views of McLane Stadium from all seating locations.

20. As a season ticket holder, how can I order cushioned seats in McLane Stadium this year?
Season ticket holders who would like to request cushioned seats to be installed at McLane Stadium for the season can do so by calling 844-359-2293 OR go online to www.BUBearChairs.com.
Season Price per seat - $40 each. The price increases after July 31. If you are considering upgrading or relocating your tickets, please wait to order the BU Bear Chairs until after the seat selection/relocation process in June.
