2009 Fund Drive
The annual Fund Drive is the most critical fundraising effort for the Bear Foundation each year. The spring membership campaign depends on volunteers just like you asking others to get involved and join the effort to raise money for scholarships for student-athletes.
The format of the campaign has changed this year. Instead of teams and individual competition, you are asked to work at your own pace – and we hope you will still make every effort to contact as many potential members as possible. Volunteers will be rewarded with some great prizes for whatever level of effort you choose to exert.
Your commitment to participate in this fund drive is significant and vital to the success of the campaign. We recognize the value of your time and energy spent working on behalf of the Bear Foundation. The more than 400 student-athletes on Baylor’s 18 varsity sports wish to thank you for your efforts.
Baylor has a history of producing world-class athletes from all of its varsity sports programs. Much of their success comes from the generosity and support of more than 3,000 Baylor Bear Foundation members who give their time, money, and loyalty to Baylor Athletics. Baylor has annually been among the leaders in the Big 12 in graduation rates since the inception of the Big 12 Conference.
The Fund Drive organizes our volunteers who will focus on asking alumni and friends to join Bear Foundation as NEW members. Your efforts will directly affect the success of this campaign. More importantly, your effort will have a direct impact on the financial support the Bear Foundation is able to give the Baylor Athletic Department for athletic scholarships in 2009-10.
