Students apply for different roles on an i5 team according to their interests and academic qualifications. As an undergraduate student with business or engineering background, you will have the chance to work on one of these international projects, gaining in-depth cross cultural experience.
Cost for i5:
- Tuition for 6 Credit Hours at Summer Rate
- i5 Program Cost: $4,000
- Airfare to China: Currently estimated at $2,000
The $4000 program fee covers all in-country expenses such as travel, tourism, room, board, cell phone SIM, medical insurance and evacuation insurance.:
Additionally, we have an optional weekend trip to one of the Four Ancient Capitals of China, Xi'an, home to the Terra Cotta Warriors and their famous dish "hot pot." This trip costs $750.
The 2014 i5 Experience is scheduled during Baylor's second summer session, trip dates are June 2 - August 10, 2014.

Baylor also offers the Glennis McCrary Goodrich International Scholarship program, which will help about 15 students to participate in study-abroad programs during each academic year. Recipients are selected competitively, based on financial need, academic merit, and other considerations, and the maximum award for a summer program is $3,000.
