Undergraduate Students

Students apply for different roles on an i5 team according to their interests and academic qualifications. As an undergraduate student with business or engineering background, you will have the chance to work on one of these international projects, gaining in-depth cross cultural experience.

Students will pay for 6 hours of summer tuition and their round-trip airfare.  Airfare is currently estimated at $2,200.  This is the estimated fare for our group travel on American Airlines and Cathay Pacific, organized by Millennium Tours.  This price is not confirmed until the total payment is received and the ticket is issued.  You may pay your airline ticket in full to lock in this price.

This includes travel between the United States and Hong Kong and Beijing and the United States (our groups will depart/return from/to Dallas/Fort Worth). If you are considering making your own flight arrangements, you must contact Millennium Tours to get our flight itinerary as soon as possible as you will be responsible for meeting the group in Hong Kong.

You must LOGIN to Bearsabroad and complete the i5 Flight Reservation form and turn it in with your first payment of $2400 due on January 16, 2013. This payment includes a $400 deposit to secure your seat on the flight.  If you are making your own air travel arrangements, state on the form "making personal air travel arrangements."

In addition, you will pay a $4000 program fee that covers:

  • Accommodations
  • Meal Allowance
  • Planned Excursions - Note: there is an optional trip to Xi'an, home of the Terracotta Warriors and other sites, for an additional $500.

The 2013 i5 Experience is scheduled during Baylor's second summer session, trip dates are July 3 - August 10, 2013.
