Baylor was Cole Kaleta’s first choice when transferring from the Air Force Academy. An Aviation Sciences major from Sugarland, Kaleta was drawn to the high academic standards of the university along with the beautiful campus.

When asked to describe his Baylor experience in one word, Kaleta chose ‘tradition.’ “Baylor has always had a tradition of high standards, ethics and an overall camaraderie among the student body,” he said.

In particular, the Aviation Sciences program has made a lasting impression in his Baylor experience. “The class sizes are small enough to create an engaging learning environment which offers the opportunity to have a personal relationship with my professors. Pilots already have a unique companionship, which radiates on to the classroom,” said Kaleta.

His favorite classes were Physics, Aviation Safety, and Aviation Law. After graduation Kaleta will pursue a law degree and then plans to go on to aviation management.

In the mean time, Cole's Waco memories have made a lasting impression. From his use of Cameron Park to his enjoyment of the aesthetic environment around the Baylor campus, he is proud to be a Baylor Bear.
