Although academics are vital, the campus life experience also plays a major role to your education.         The campus is alive with over 275 clubs and organizations, including 25 national and local sororities and fraternities. Also Baylor students, faculty and staff annually volunteer more than 150,000 hours of community service locally.

The Academy for Leader Development & Civic Engagement was established in 2004 by the Division of Student Life at Baylor University to create a common place where diverse individuals studying, researching or practicing leadership in the context of a Christian worldview will benefit from collaboration. The Department of Student Activities challenges students to become people of influence through student organization membership, exceptional campus programs, leadership development, and a commitment to serving our communities by connecting generations of students to the life of the university.

With an active campus community life and tremendous amount of resources, here are a couple of events that you won't want to miss.

QuadBaylor University is a vibrant campus with Big 12 athletic events. While sitting on the stands at home games, show your support by wearing the green and gold.

Dr Pepper Hour
During the Dr Pepper Hour, join your classmates, professors and Baylor staff each Tuesday at 3pm for this special hour to relax, socialize and talk informally while enjoying Dr Pepper floats.

Christmas on 5th Street
Grab your friends and take in the lighting of the campus Christmas tree and Fifth Street buildings, caroling, live nativity scene, special musical guests, pictures with Santa Claus and other "reindeer games."

Diadeloso or "Day of the Bear" is a day of fun in the sun as spring classes are cancelled so students, faculty and staff can enjoy athletic tournaments, live shows and the Block Party.
