Bear Run Course Information

After recovering the fire in 2010, torrential rains preceding the 2012 event, and due to the construction of the new Jim and Nell Hawkins Indoor Tennis Center on the Baylor Intramural fields, the Baylor Invitational looks to return to its former location of Bear Run at the Lake Waco Dam.   In a gracious partnership with the Army Corp of Engineers that allows for this land usage, we are able to provide an exciting and true cross country venue for our athletes that attend.   Spectators can watch from along the course or take advantage of a unique feature of our course as most of the race can be seen from above on the Hike and Bike Trail.
