As a staff, we had two main goals in designing and creating a monthly newsletter. The first was to find a unique way to reward athletes who have exhibited success during training sessions or competitions. The second goal was to provide another means of educating not only the athletes, but the campus as a whole on nutrition, training philosophies and other items as they pertain to healthy lifestyle choices.
As the newsletter progresses there will undoubtedly be changes in the format. However, there are a few items which will always be present.
The cover image of the newsletter will be designated to a team or individual athlete(s) that are performing a high level. Individuals are chosen on a combination of attendance, attitude, enthusiasm, mechanics and work ethic.
Building Blocks of Success
A 15 part series that will educate the readers on methods to build team and personal success. Each month, one block will be covered in detail until the pyramid is completed.
This section is used to educate the reader on issues that are a part of, or would effect, training sessions.
Gives our staff an opportunity to answer publicly some of the frequently asked questions that we receive regarding the topic.
