The inconsequential details of everyday life are frequent points of departure for my work, as both humor and beauty can readily be discovered in the most ordinary environments. In particular, I am intrigued by the process of redefining a common utilitarian object, fusing its form with an absurd reference, unusual material, or incongruous function. Recent works have explored my fascination with aircraft wings, lunch, and the occasional need for new curtains.
