Baylor University alumni and friends from all over the globe make significant contributions to society in many forms. The university's awards program acknowledges the distinctive mission of Baylor University and recognizes those who achieve success in a manner consistent with that mission. Following are the recipients for 2013-14.

Alumnus of the Year, Godfrey Sullivan

Awarded to a graduate who has demonstrated remarkable achievement in the previous year

Young Alumna of the Year, Michele Perry

Awarded to a graduate age 40 or under who has demonstrated remarkable achievement in the previous year

Pro Ecclesia Medal of Service, Bill Glass

Awarded to an individual whose broad contributions to Christian ministry have made an immeasurable impact

Pro Texana Medal of Service, Thomas Phillips

Awarded to an individual whose contributions in furthering the mission of Baylor have made an immeasurable impact in the public or non-profit sector

Business Leadership Medal of Service, Vinnie Johnson

Awarded to an individual whose leadership has made a significant impact in our world and on future generations

Contributions to the Professions: Healthcare Medal of Service, David Rubenstein

Awarded to an individual for dedication to advancing his or her chosen field and making a significant impact in our world

Baylor Legacy, Bob Simpson

Awarded to individuals who demonstrate extraordinary service and philanthropy to Baylor or to causes that fit our mission as a Christian university
