Joe Stobaugh is currently serving as the Executive Minister of Worship and Arts at Grace Avenue United Methodist Church in Frisco, TX. Rev. Stobaugh facilitates the creation of the six weekend worship events at Grace Avenue (whose styles ranges from ‘traditional’, to Taizé, to ‘contemporary’ and ‘emergent’) and serves as one of the preachers on the preaching team at Grace Avenue.Prior to his appointment at Grace Avenue, Joe served in a variety of contexts in Texas, from rural/exurban settings to urban contexts.
Joe's ministry related passions include the development of congregational song and congregational participation in worship, multi-sensory worship, social justice and peace ministries, bridging the world and the church, the intersection of culture and worship, and the use of new music and art forms for worship. He has recently released his first full-length album, Pilgrimage, which is available on his website, iTunes, and Spotify. He is also playing bass in the worship band, Renewed Worship, whose EP is available through the aforementioned digital retailers.
