Joseph Ferraro is an anthropologist broadly trained in the biological and archaeological subfields. His primary research interests are the evolution of human behavior, evolution of the human diet, and human paleoecology. He conducts fieldwork in East Africa and is currently analyzing archaeological and paleontological materials from several localities that range in age from 3.0 - 1.8 million years ago. In addition, Joe is also interested forensic anthropology and human taphonomy. His courses include Human Osteology and Death, Injury, & Physical Remains.
