ROTC Residential Community

One of the housing options for Baylor students is to request a bed in the Brooks Flats, ROTC (i.e., Army & Air Force) Residential Community for the 2014-2015 school year.  This is a great opportunity for some incoming students and upperclassmen to live in a common residential area and learn together.

Why would you want to be part of this? First, you don't have to, though it is an option for you. But we think this is a great option, especially for our incoming freshmen. Here’s why:

Instant friends -- living with like-minded cadets will allow you to form strong, life-long friendships that will help carry you through Baylor. Cadets look out for each other, learn together, form tight bonds... but don’t worry -- you are NOT living & breathing AFROTC 24/7! You get the fun 24/7.

  • Upperclass cadets will live among you--mentoring and tutoring.
  • If you have a roommate they will likely be a cadet.

****To Apply:  Contact the AFROTC detachment at 254-710-3513 or email us at afrotc@baylor.edu.  From there we will send you an application for housing and send you a worksheet to fill out your preferences.  Once that is recieved, you will be sent a link to sign the one year lease.  Please let us know this has been done.  Once we recieve confirmation of your lease agreement we will assign you a room.  If you have a roommate preference that will be a cadet as well or someone just going to Baylor let us know in the preference worksheet and we will work to accomodate your preference.******
