ADVISE is Advisors Discussing Various Issues and Sharing Experiences.
The program was launched in the fall of 2002 as a way to bring the advising community together for meaningful professional development and interaction. Initially brown bag lunch programs were hosted twice a semester, but in recent years both lunch programs and afternoon programs have been offered three times each semester.
A different topic is selected each time and normally the speaker(s) will be a Baylor faculty or staff member. To review the topics covered in previous programs click here: ADVISE Topics, Speakers, and Dates.
The following staff/faculty will serve on the 2012-2013 ADVISE planning committee:
Mike Gerhardt, University Advisement
Dr. Rizalia Klausmeyer, Chemistry and Biochemistry Department
Dr. John Knue, Hankamer School of Business
Laura Scott, University Advisement
