Transferring Course Credits

Many students and advisors have questions about transfer work. It is very important that students and advisors alike be familiar with and understand the policies regarding transfer work so that efficient academic planning can be done. Students are strongly encouraged to contact an academic advisor with any questions or concerns about transfer work that has already been completed or that is planned for the future.

Important message regarding ONLINE COURSES!!
Keep in mind that many academic departments at Baylor will NOT approve online courses for transfer back to Baylor for credit. Among these are the History Department, the English Department, the Modern Foreign Language Department, the Math Department and others. If you are planning to take online coursework which is NOT included on the list of equivalent courses shown on the Baylor website (see third link below), you must contact the appropriate Baylor department beforehand to verify if they are willing to accept this coursework as transfer credit.
