Differences Between Your Two Campuses

Books Baylor does not allow students to add books to their student bill or charge them to their Baylor account. Textbooks can be purchased or rented online by credit card or purchased at the Baylor Bookstore by cash, check, or credit card. However, if any books are needed for Baylor classes, the Baylor advisor will place the order at the Baylor Bookstore and have them sent to the MCC Bookstore in the Michaelis Academic Building. This will allow a student to either charge the books to the MCC account or have them covered by the financial aid award. MCC allows students to charge textbooks bought in the MCC Bookstore to their student account. Financial aid can then be used to pay the charges. If you wish to use financial aid to pay for your books, you will be asked to complete the short-term loan form until your aid has been awarded. To find out what books are needed, go to the MCC WebAdvisor after registering for classes.
ID Card ID cards are issued during orientation or in the Cashier's office in Robinson Tower during normal business hours. A valid driver's license or picture ID is required to have the ID made and this must be done before residence hall move-in. Visit the MAC Card Office on the ground floor of the Learning Technology Center to have your ID made. A valid driver's license or picture ID is required to have your ID made. Your ID will be mailed to the address you provide to the Card office. Activate your ID card upon receipt as all student financial disbursements will be handled through your card.
Parking You can purchase a parking pass online at baylor.edu/parking. Parking permits can be picked up on the 1st floor of Robinson Tower. Student parking permits are required to park on campus Monday through Friday, 7 am to 5 pm.
Parking permits can be obtained from the ID office in the Learning Technology Center. The first parking permit is free, and additional permits may be purchased for $5.
