Scott Barnett's number one reason to come to Baylor is the community you experience as soon as you step on campus. "Everyone from the librarian to your professor will genuinely care about what you're doing and invest in your experience here both inside and outside the classroom," Scott said.
Scott's favorite Baylor tradition is tortilla tossing. According to him, he might even be the best in town. For Scott, this tradition merges both Waco and Baylor, which allows for a unique experience. Contrary to popular opinion, his advice is to buy flour, not corn tortillas, for the competitive advantage.
For fun, Scott likes to play tennis and ride his bike. He also loves to travel and lists Switzerland as his favorite place he has visited. His life's goal is to combine these interests and travel to Wimbledon someday (but just as a spectator).
Scott recommends for prospective students to get to know the admissions office at the schools they are considering. "Ask us questions, tour our campus, and meet us at an event sometime," Scott said. "Seeing campus and meeting people from the university are the best ways to know if Baylor is for you."
