Professional Selling

The Professional Selling major (designated as a pre-major) is supported by Baylor's Center for Professional Selling. This major prepares students to help business customers buy needed products, services, technologies, or solutions. This helps create value for both organizations. The sales curriculum cultivates critical knowledge and core skills and competencies.  Available courses include:

  • Negotiating and Conflict Resolution
  • Sales Force Management
  • Professional Selling and Communications
  • Marketing Analysis and Decision Making
  • Marketing Channels

Students can attend Professional Development Program (PDP) activities as freshmen. The PDP is a student-run program that helps students find learning opportunities outside of the classroom. Students increase their understanding of different fields and different career opportunities.

The Hankamer School of Business offers student exchange and study abroad programs that are especially beneficial to the Professional Selling major.

Baylor also offers several Living-Learning Centers including the Business & Innovation Living-Learning Center. Living-Learning Centers are housing opportunities designed to place students of common interests together.
