Students who participate in the Baylor Bound Program at McLennan Community College engage with faculty and staff from both schools as they begin their collegiate academic career at McLennan and ultimately complete their degree at Baylor.
Students admitted into the Baylor Bound Program will benefit from increased interaction with Baylor staff, even while completing their time at McLennan, and will receive unique Baylor benefits.
Once students complete their first year at McLennan, they are eligible to apply for transfer admission into Baylor. Accepted students are eligible for transfer academic scholarships ranging up to $11,000 per academic year. Additionally, transfer students are eligible to apply to the Transfer Year Experience Living-Learning Center, or TYE-LLC. Housed in the University Parks apartment complex, the TYE-LLC provides an exciting opportunity for transfer students to live in a community with those who are experiencing many of the same transitions and changes.
This program is best suited for highly motivated students who enroll full-time for one year beginning in the fall at McLennan in an approved AA or AS academic program leading to an approved Baylor BBA, BA or BS degree. To view details of the various degree programs, see the Baylor Bound MAPs (Major Academic Planners).
