Environmental Science

The Environmental Science major combines laboratory work, field work and classroom study. This program is designed for students interested in fields such as forestry, wildlife management, water resources, and environmental chemistry. The coursework requires basic science as well as upper-level math. Available courses include:

  • Watershed Assessment
  • Environmental Engineering
  • Exploring Environmental Issues

Students graduating with an Environmental Science degree can expect to find job opportunities as lab researchers, consultants, environmental engineers or analysts, among other professions. Other students continue their education and research by going to graduate or medical school.
