Below are the Top 12 Ways You Can Help Us Help You in getting your financial aid in order for your financial aid funds to pay towards your bill by the fall bill due date (July 31, 2009).

Use information from completed 2008 tax returns on your FAFSA. Do not use estimated information.

Both you and your parents should be careful in answering FAFSA questions #33 and #34, and #82 and #83. Answering these questions incorrectly can delay the processing and application of your aid.

If you are a male, you must register for Selective Service (required for the FAFSA).

Be sure to accept your aid either by returning your signed award letter, or by accepting your aid online through the BearWeb system (access to BearWeb is made available to new students after May 1, 2009).

New Stafford Loan borrowers at Baylor should complete both the Stafford Entrance Counseling and the Loans by Web process by June 15, 2009 so your loan funds can be allowed for against your fall charges by the fall bill due date (July 31, 2009).

Make certain your contact information is up to date with the Records Office. Our office communicates primarily through your Baylor email address. When we send items via mail we send them to your local Waco address during the fall and spring semesters and then to your permanent address during the summer.
