The Allbritton Art Institute is an integral part of Baylor University's Department of Art program and is responsible for several enrichments and activities, which, without its support, would not be possible.

  • Eligible students studying within the framework of the Institute participate in international, national, and regional field trips. Since 1998, the Institute has sponsored field studies to Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands; Boston, Chicago, Delaware, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, Washington, DC; and Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, Marfa and San Antonio in Texas.
  • Each year, the Institute sponsors a distinguished guest lecturer.

We are pleased to announce that for our 2015 Allbritton Art Institute Biennial Artist Conversation we will be hosting world renowned artist, Frank Stella and acclaimed art critic, Jason Kaufman on Tuesday, November 10th.

  • Go to the Events page for upcoming and past event information.

  • Ashton Smyth (pictured at the lower right) is the 2015-16 recipient of a scholarship awarded each academic year by the Institute.
