The 2012 annual TOHA program meeting in joint session with the 116th annual meeting of the Texas State Historical Association (TSHA) was held in Houston on Friday afternoon, March 2, 2012. The two papers in this session highlighted diverse ways art makes visual both history and public memory and ways oral history gives voice to artistic expressions of life and culture in Texas.
