Additional Awards, Internships, Research Experiences, & Funding Sources

After reviewing and exploring the scholarships, fellowships, and internships we list as the primary national and international awards this office supports, you may not have found the grant or research experience or summer internship for which you are looking. Perhaps your discipline or specialized field of study is not accounted for in the awards we describe. Perhaps you are simply looking for a different path to studying in the UK, winning a scholarship in the sciences, or preparing for a career in the federal government.

Collected here is a rich list of resources for maximizing your undergraduate education and developing the plan for your graduate education. By no means inclusive, what is gathered here can serve as a springboard for your own personalized searches.

Here you will find key websites in a number of categories, including honors societies; College Board resources; opportunities for African Americans, Hispanics, and specific ethnicities; summer internships; social services and social work--to name a few.

Have fun scanning the sites that have been carefully selected to give you an overview of what is available. (We think you will be astonished!) Search for information in your discipline and then consider summer experiences, essay contests, and scholarship applications.
