What is CTCTM?
The Central Texas Council of Teachers of Mathematics is a professional educators organization serving the central Texas area mathematics teachers and leaders. It was organized to provide communication and networking opportunities with colleagues, sharing of ideas and experiences, and a venue for dissemination of information about reform in mathematics education.
CTCTM Goals
Enable Area mathematics educators to establish connections with colleagues and share ideas, and experiences
Disseminate current research and information concerning the effective teaching and learning of mathematics
Provide supporting quality professional development in mathematics education
Serve as a link to area mathematics teachers to local, regional, state, and national events and news related to mathematics education
Involve and recruit exemplary area educators to serve in leadership positions in mathematics education
