Center for Christian Education

Established in 1985, the Center for Christian education reaches out to many different educational populations. The primary role of the Center is to assist private schools in providing an expanded and improved curriculum. Since private schools have been isolated in many ways from the education community, the opportunities that the Center provides have been well received. Other responsibilities include providing workshops, conferences, and lectures that assist the community to have a richer and more varied curriculum.

The dreams of the Center for Christian Education are broad. We would like to be more involved in the accreditation of private schools and statewide conferences that would improve education wherever there are children learning. Working closely with the Texas Association of Baptist Schools and its accreditation arm associated with the Texas Education Agency, the Accreditation Commission of Texas Baptist Schools, has been an opportunity to support Christian schools who understand the heritage of Baylor.
