Mission
The mission of the Baylor University Piper Center for Family Studies and Child Development is to provide model programs and leadership for infants, toddlers, and preschool children consistent with the teaching, research/creative endeavors, and service missions of Baylor University.
Within this structure the center strives to:
Provide quality programs for young children and their families based on scientific development theory, research, and developmentally appropriate practice;
Provide education in all aspects of child development and family studies in a child-directed, inquiry-based, play-centered learning environment that is nurturing, safe, and secure
