Curtis Streetman, bass, is known for his range and versatility. An active American proponent of the Historically Informed Performance Practice movement, his well-regarded and researched interpretations have been presented in some of the worlds most esteemed opera theaters and concert halls. Operatic performances include appearances at The Salzburg Festival, Halle Staatsoper, Teatro Arriaga de Bilbao, Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, Grand Théâtre de Genève, and Pacific Opera Victoria. Orchestral appearances include performances with The Cleveland Orchestra, The National Symphony, The St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, The San Diego Symphony, and Kammerorchesterbasel. Festival appearances include performances at Tanglewood, Ravinia (USA), The Hong Kong Cultural Arts, The San Juan Arts Festival, and The Halle Handel Festspiel. Recordings include Deutsche Harmonia Mundi's release of Handels Riccardo Primo, Clerambault Christmas Cantatas on Naxos, Clerambault secular cantatas on Dorian, Monteverdi Vespers on Musical Heritage Society, Kodaly Missa Brevis on Koch Classics.
