MUED Convocations

Twice each semester the Music Education students assemble to hear outstanding speakers in the field of music education. Attendance at these convocations is required of all Music Education Majors.

Monday, August 31 - 6:15-8:30pm (Meadows): Dr. Stephen Gusukuma - Lecturer in Choral Music, Baylor University; Joy Vee Davis Lecture Series

Monday, October 12th - 6:15-8:30pm (Roxy Grove): Groove for Thought - Vocal Ensemble; Lyceum Artist Series

Monday, February 1 - 6:15-7:15pm (Meadows): Dr. Keith Dye - President, Texas Educators Association; Joy Vee Davis Lecture Series

Monday, March 21 - 6:15-7:15pm (Meadows): Mr. Tom Waggoner - President, Center for Educator Development in Fine Arts; Joy Vee Davis Lecture Series
