Baylor offers one of the few undergraduate degree programs in Museum Studies in the nation. The unique resources of the Mayborn Museum Complex and a low student/faculty ratio ensure that students in the Department are thoroughly trained.
Baylor undergraduate students who have taken MST 1300 (and possibly other Museum Studies courses) are encouraged to apply to the graduate school in the second semester of their junior year. They may then take as many as three graduate-level courses in Museum Studies during their senior year, which can count toward their graduate degree as long as they are not used to fulfill a requirement for their undergraduate major.
