Post Doctoral Position
The Department of Mathematics at Baylor University invites applications for a post doctoral position beginning in August 2013. This position may be renewable annually to a maximum of three years and is not a tenure-track position. Customarily, the teaching load is two three-hour courses each semester. Salary and benefits are competitive. Excellence in teaching and research is essential. Strong potential for obtaining external funding is desirable. Special consideration will be given to applicants with research interests overlapping current areas of research in the department which include algebra, algebraic geometry, analysis, computational mathematics, differential equations, mathematical physics, numerical analysis, representation theory, and topology.
Candidates should possess an earned doctorate in the appropriate field of study.
