About Baylor Mathematics


Baylor University offers courses leading to the Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts, Master of Science, and Ph.D. degrees in mathematics. A Bachelor of Science degree is also offered in applied mathematics.

It is our mission to provide quality mathematics instruction at all levels, to make significant contributions to the discovery and dissemination of mathematical knowledge, and to develop, within a Christian environment, ethical scholars, skilled professionals, and educated leaders who are sensitive to the needs of society.
