The Middle East is the cradle of both Western civilization and its major religious traditions: Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. The Middle East Studies minor is interdeparmental and interdisciplinary, designed to provide students with a broad introduction to the region, and provides the student with an opportunity to travel to the Middle East for study at the American University in Cairo.
