Science & Engineering Library Resources
The following database resources are available in the Science/Engineering
library:
- Medline
Medline is the bibliographic database of the National Library of Medicine
and covers biomedical literature including dentistry. Medline is available
on the campus network, but older years (1988-99) are also available on
CD-ROM.
- PsycInfo
PsycInfo, which is the electronic equivalent of Psychological Abstracts,
is produced by the American Psychological Association and is recognized
as the primary source of psychological, psychiatric, and neuroscientific
information in the U.S. It is accessible through the campus network.
- CIP (Classroom Instructional Program)
If you've tried all of our other suggestions, and still need more help
or information, we have one last ray of hope. Please ask at the
Science/Engineering Reference Desk on the 2nd floor of the Jones Library
or call x2330 to make an appointment with a librarian for research assistance.
DIALOG's CIP offers more than 400 files and is available to Baylor faculty
and students free of charge when searches are curriculum related.
