Students who apply to public institutions for graduate school, medical school, or dental school often wish to qualify as Texas residents for purposes of receiving the lower tuition rate. The qualifications for Texas residency for tuition purposes are determined by Title 3, Chapter 54 of the Texas Education Code. For more information, please see the following link:
